Firefighter salary in small community?

i live in a smaller community, closest major city is chicago, about 80 minutes, and it seems that everyone is volunteer firefighters around here, im sure theres got to be some firefighters on salary who work in the firehouse and stuff, how much you think they make, i live in a little town of about 16k people, how much would a firefighter make in my town about you think, as a starting firefighter, 25kish?
