Why is my husband behaving like this?

Yeah that does sound a bit fishy. Sounds like he's made plans with someone else, and he wants you to be gone while whatever it is happens with this other person. I think if it was work he would just tell you that straight up. And he WOULD have contacted you and found some way to stay in touch with you. He won't tell you, because things may or may NOT work out with this other person so he is confused. I'm really sorry but that's what I'm getting from what you've said about his replys to you.
