What to get for Christmas for a friend that's a girl?

I've become really close friends with a girl. We met in July and with Christmas coming up, I want to get her something nice, but not too nice, and I'm not sure what to get. We are both in the same fire department and so is her ex, who is a mutual friend of both of us. The girl and I are close like boyfriend/girlfriend close, but we are not dating. I was thinking a nice bracelet but is jewelry a little too far? I don't want to make it look like we are dating to everyone at the firehouse and I don't want to show off to her ex. Price is no matter. I'm just not sure what to get lol. I wanna wow her, but I don't want to send the wrong signals to her or anyone else. Any thoughts or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
