My laptop mic keeps picking up siren noises when i record things?

Idk, they sound like sirens from a firehouse when they test the sirens, but i don't hear them until i listen over the recording. And i live very close to the firehouse so i would hear it, because i always do. But for some reason the mic is picking up something that sounds like sirens at random moments when i record things. Anybody know why?
